Cut the Carbs, Cut the Fat. That’s what they say. Americans are getting fatter and fatter every day. Our country suffers from diabetes and heart disease that is mostly preventable, and we all look around hoping to find a magic cure to our obesity. Well, it may not be a magic cure, but scientists at UCLA have found an enzyme in white kidney beans that can keeps carbohydrates from breaking down into sugars in the digestive system. This means that instead of starches breaking down into sugar and entering the blood stream to be stored as fat, they will digest slowly and be used for energy.

This also means that your body can start burning stored fat because your blood sugars won’t be sky high all the time.

For those of you that don’t know, insulin in your blood stream, which is normal, sends signals to your body that you should store fat, you can reduce the amount of insulin in the blood by cutting back on carbohydrate intake and eating the right kinds of carbs.

So, can you eat white kidney beans and be skinny by next month…nope, but no matter who tells you otherwise, or how nice the pictures look, Acai berries can’t either. It takes diet and exercise to lose the weight, but white kidney beans can help you lose weight much faster and avoid the diabetes and heart disease that is killing this country.

Add at least one serving to your daily meals to start getting the benefit of white kidney beans.

There is also a supplement called Phase 2 that uses this extract, but if you can get the same benefit from eating the beans, you will kill two birds with one stone, you’ll get full and lose weight.

Good Luck
